The CIMSOLUTIONS colleagues from Bangladesh recently spent two days at the 'Ghulam Hossain Primary School' to provide the school with a CIMSOLUTIONS sponsored internet/wifi connection, a desktop computer, laptops, a photocopier, an IP camera, speakers and projectors. After the equipment was installed and the WiFi connection was set up, a video call was immediately made with Moynul Hossain.

In addition to installing the equipment, our Bangladeshi colleagues have given the teachers extensive training. The teachers received basic training to work on the computers, they learned how to work with the other equipment, how to solve common problems themselves and how to maintain the equipment. Because the school is now connected to WiFi, our colleagues from Bangladesh will also provide online support. And in 2 months our colleagues will go back again to see how things are going and to help where necessary.

The school 'Ghulam Hossain Primary School' is named after Moynul Hossain's father and was built in 1987 by Moynul's brother. The school has now been fully taken over by the Bangladeshi government and moved to a new building in 2013. The name 'Ghulam Hossain Primary School' has been retained and the Hossain family still has a warm heart for the school.
